Greetings!

About 6 months ago, I decided that I was going to start writing. My first story was about my relationship with my husband . . . it was a funny account of how our lives, while very dissimilar, have melded into what is now our reality.

About 3 months ago, I found out that after having waited for more than several years, we were to have a baby. This changed everything.

So, today I've decided that I will start my writing experiences here, in this blog, and I will try to discuss what we do as a family, and how the kids (and the husband) keep mom busy.

What kind of woman can be a mom, work full-time, and still maintain a blog? Not me.

But, after more than many months, I am going to try yet again.

I am a Lean Manager by day. When I say, "Lean", most of my friends and family haven't a clue. The general reaction is a joke ("Do you have something against puffy people?"; "Will Lean help my pants fit better?" . . . ), but in reality, it's a simple idea.

As I try to teach "Lean" principles at work, I often find myself thinking about how I can relate the information to my life at home . . .

So, that's where I am. I want to start applying Lean principles to my personal life, and maybe someone out there can benefit from me telling my story.
